Shouldn't: Not aware of any problems with smoking and raloxifene. Smoking may increase the risk of osteoporosis.

Usually not.: However Evista (raloxifene) is associated with phlebitis because it, like oral estrogen, elevates serum fibrinogen. As they say, smoking potentiates the thrombotic complications of estrogen, and i suspect Evista (raloxifene) too.
