Hummm: I am having a hard time connecting the two symptoms. The fact that the rib pain only occurs at night makes me think of a musculoskeletal pain, since it could be aggravated by recumbency. One diagnosis could be fibromyalgia. Another unlikely yet important possibility is temporal arteritis. If your headaches are accompanied by any visual change I would suggest you seek out a primary care physician
