Can be: There are lots of reasons for irregular bleeding. Your thyroid or other hormones could be unbalanced. If you are overweight or have an excess of certain hormones this could be something called anovulatory bleeding, which is a disorganized shedding of your uterine lining, leading to bleeding throughout the month.

Yes: It is not normal to have three periods each month. You should see your doctor to find out what is going on and to be treated.
