What is the difference between using debrox ear drops and using just baby oil?

Minimal: Debrox drops have a bubbling effect that may help remove wax but both will soften ear wax and make it easier to remove. Hydrogen peroxide is probably just as effective as debrox for the bubbling, but neither should be used in an ear that might have a perforation.
