Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Advil: You can take these meds at the same time or alternate. Advil has anti-inflammatory properties and painkiller, whereas Tylenol (acetaminophen) seems to relieve pain and reduce fever. The maximum dose for Advil is 3.2gr/day and for Tylenol (acetaminophen) is 4gr/day. Talk to your PCP for more information.
