I had a tumt procedure for bph and now have retrograde ejaculation. it is very unpleasant having climaxes that are not there. is there a cure?

No cure: The microwave procedure permanently interferes with the Alpha nerve receptors to create a more open bladder outlet. Unfortunately, this results in retrograde ejaculation. Your profile suggests that you continue to take Tamsulosin, which can also exacerbate the problem. Usually, the goal of TUMT is to eliminate the need for medication. If successful, you should be able to stop Tamsulosin.

No cure/trial and er: There is no specific cure for retrograde ejaculation and it is a result of treating your prostate enlargement issue. There are certain things one can try though-one example is to take an over the counter sudafed 1-2 hours prior to intercourse(be careful if you have high blood pressure though). The only downside is it could temporarily cause your urinary issues to regress while on the sudafed
