OCP: Diane 35 in many countries is only indicated to treat severe acne and should not be prescribed as a birth control pill because of issues related to increased blood clot formation due the Progesterone in the pill (cyproterone). If it is being prescribed for contraception, please see your healthcare provider to discuss an alternative
