Not much: The reason for baby foods at that age is to introduce a new method, not overtake the value of breast milk or formula. A tablespoonful or two is fine for starters. If the kid seems to want more, that is one of the goals, but they should not drop their other intake below 16-20 oz. By 1 yr, they should have a balance between the two.
