Sleep lab: If they kick you out of the sleep lab I'm at a loss to tell you where to go next. Tell them you appreciate the diagnosis and you would like to get the problem fixed. They might direct you to an ENT surgeon, a weight loss clinic or a pharmacy that sells breathe right strips. Tell them you have been kicked out of the bedroom.

Sleep apnea: Hello. Treatments vary for a patient with sleep apnea. See an ENT doctor who will evaluate your airway. Medication may help to resolve a nasal obstruction, decreasing intranasal resistance and thus resolving OSA. Surgery may be helpful or possibly a dental device.

...to a doctor: If you're not being treated for your sleep apnea, you should be. Get a BiPAP mask for proper treatment. Snoring does away, and your back in the room.

Sleep Specialist: You should be seen and evaluated for Sleep Apnea. If you have clinical signs and symptoms, they will refer you to a sleep lab to be tested for sleep apnea. If positive, then depending on the degree of apnea you have, there are different treatment options. Treatment includes dental device or ENT consultation (successful for very mild apnea) or use of a PAP device.

Sleep clinic: There are plenty of options to treat your sleep apnea - CPAP, oral appliance, Provent, surgery, weight loss. Even people with mild sleep apnea can benefit from treatment. There are so many complications that can arise from untreated OSA that I would urge you to visit with your sleep specialist to find a treatment that works for you.

Sleep doctor: I prefer, if you start seeing a sleep physician first, The CPAP therapy is still the gold standard. The sleep doctor can send you to an ENT or dental sleep medicine specialist as needed.
