Seven days: The recommended treatment is twice daily for seven days. If you only have 10 pills, take one tablet twice a day until gone. You should also be checked for gonorrhea, HIV and syphilis, if you haven't been tested already, and you should notify anyone that you've had unprotected sex with that they should get tested also.

Will not be enough: Treatment for at least 7 days and with Doxycycline 100mg twice a day is recommended. Half of the dose is likely to end in treatment failure and need for pretreatment. Also taking incomplete treatment may result in resistance of the Chlamydia to doxycycline. Abstain from unprotected Sex during Treatment and make sure to be tested post-treatment. Your sexual partner/contact needs to be treated too.
