A member asked:

I've had my period from may 9th- may 14th, now its the 20th and i have light colored spotting, is this normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Breakthrough bleeding---bleeding when it's not time for your period---while not 'normal' per se, is very very common. Typically due to hormonal changes but can also be due to weight gain, weight loss, thyroid issues. If continues, and is bothersome, consider birth control pills to help regulate your cycle. Best of luck
