A member asked:

Blood calcium serum 10.3 , hematocrit 52.6%, and red blood cell count 6.36 should i try and reduce these?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

?Dehydration: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, one of the things to do first would be repeat the hematocrit when you are fully hydrated. If it is still high, you need to consult a hematologist.
