Ovulation issue: Either she is ovulating later than normal or she is not at all.if she is not wanting to get pregnant, birth control pills will regulate her. If she is wanting pregnancy, she may need to see her GYN to see what's up.

Lost in translation: I'm not sure I completely understand what you're asking but it sounds like possibly this person you are referring to has periods that can last 10+ days? If this is the case, anyone having periods lasting more than 7 days should be examined by their doctor, especially if accompanied by heavy bleeding and large clots to find out the cause, as there are many possibilities. Likely there will be tests.
