Tx for yeast infx: There are many options for the treatment of yeast infections. Many over-the-counter creams and vaginal suppositories are available. If these are not working after a few days, call your doctor for an oral dose of Diflucan (fluconazole) - one dose usually does it. As far as prevention in future, do not "over clean" genital area. Using lots or frequent antibacterial soaps can lead to yeast being queen in that area
