OTC Medication: Trial a combination of Tylenol (acetaminophen) 500 mg four times a day and Naproxen as directed. If you've had it for some time, find a doctor who does 'trigger point injections' and sacroiliac ligament injections. If not improved with those, an MRI might be ordered to see if there is disk disease. Spinal manipulation by an Osteopath (DO) can help and they can also perform the injections and refer for MRI.
