A member asked:

Can you tell me about hiv or syphilis or any other infection disease can cause pain in testis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mumps: HIV and syphilis are not likely to cause pain in testes. Bacterial infection of the testes and epididymus can cause testicular pain. Passing crystals and stones in urine can cause referred pain in testes. Infection with mumps virus can cause inflammation and pain in testes in addition to salivary gland and pancreas.
