Lymphatic disease: if you are referring to lymphedema, this presents with swelling of the extremity, as the lymph channels are not working well in recirculating fluid back towards the heart. The mainstay of treatment is compression stockings, and adjunctive therapy with manual lymphatic decongestion, or a lymphedema pump are helpful.
