Get help cutting: down, or stopping altogether would be my suggestion. Safe alcohol consumption in men is no more than 2 standard drinks (12 oz beer=5 oz. wine= 1 1/2 oz distilled spirits) per day (and if 100 or 151 proof, it's essentially 2 drinks in one), no more than 14 per week and never more than 4 per occasion. If you need help cutting back/stopping, there are many programs that can help. Talk to your PCP.
