1st ENT consider TMJ: Ear problems need to be first considered by an ENT and if a negative finding is reached consider the possibility of a TMJ condition. The jaw muscles when fatigued become very tender and cause headaches, tenderness to hand pressure. Ear pressure, ringing, and ear pain can be symptoms of a TMJ condition.
