Theoretically yes: Fibromyalgia is only beginning to be understood, because testing is very limited. It tends to involve muscles and associated tissues, rather than the joint pain of arthritis, or bone pain of Vitamin D deficiency. It seems to be caused by lack of deep sleep. Restorative sleep must be restored, and it is a slow process. Lyrica, (pregabalin) Cymbalta, Neurontin have all been used. See a fibromyalg specialist

Yes ra meds no help: 25% of RA pts also have fibro. Ra meds don't treat fibro. Need different meds for each.
