I am having a breast biopsy on tomorrow. what should i expect? i am scared. would i be in pain after?

Little : I do not expect much pain afterward but it may feel like a bruise for a few days afterward. I hope it goes well.

Relax if possible: Most patients are scared or worried about procedures and I don' t blame them. It's scary having a procedure and having to wait for the results. Take a deep breath, you should do fine. You should expect some soreness at the biopsy site but it should be easily controlled with pain meds and ice compresses. Your physician will give you discharge instructions to make you comfortable. Good luck .
