No: No. I suspect anyones mom could answer this. Kids get lumps from injuries, swollen lymph nodes from infection. Adults get "lumps" from the above plus lipomas and non-cancerous growths. Something that is growing or otherwise concerning should be evaluated.

No: Many lumps are not due to cancer but due to simple reasons like infections (swollen lymph nodes, abscesses), trauma (blood collections), lipomas (fatty tumors). Lumps which keep growing over time need to be checked by a doctor and appropriate testing should be done.
