Gallstones: Doesn't matter if you have one stone or multiple stones, doesn't matter if they are small or big. If you don't have symptoms (and with this I mean pain), you don't need any treatment. Once you start having symptoms, then is when treatment is recommended, and the only effective treatment is surgery (gallbladder removal)
