Unusual presentation: So, to clarify, you just get a red sore around your mouth but no blisters that eventually open and crust over?Do you have pain around your mouth, fever, sore lymph nodes, or sore throat before a sore erupts?Have you been tested for HSV in your blood? If you don't get a sore, how do you know you have HSV?I would say that when the symptoms you do have disappear, it is gone but HSV is not curable
