Can haemorrhoids reoccur after operation 30 yrs ago?

Possible: depending on the technique used. Also 30 years ago they may have removed 1, 2 or all three internal hemorrhoids, If anything other than 3 were removed, then they could "recur" or actual the ones not removed could flare up. See a Colon and Rectal surgeon to confirm what is going on especially if the original operative report is unavailable.
