Glaucoma is the most: Common cause of permanent vision loss which is preventable with therapy in all ages. 90+ % of glaucoma have no signs. Common cause of temporary vision loss in young people is Migraine which should also be prevented. Common cause in older people is result of blood not reaching the retina 2* to inflammation or emboli.Next is a pure ophthalmic migraine without headache. Both need immediate work up.
