Probably GERD: Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) can present in many different ways. Most people expect heartburn symptoms, but many people with GERD never notice heartburn. Instead, the symptoms you describe, including belching, lump or fullness in the throat, and a foreign body sensation are very common. I suggest trying an over the counter product like ranitidine. Avoid booze, caffeine, tobacco and large meals.
