Nothing: This is normal and the sensation will return when you stop wearing the contacts.

Maybe not needed: If your eyes are desensitized from contact wear, that may help in the comfort of the lenses. Are you having difficulty with the lenses due to the lack of sensation such as more infections? If you want to restore the sensitivity, then stop wearing the lenses for a few days and the normal sensation should be restored.
