For RLS etc., yes: In people being treated for restless leg syndrome, there appears to be a rebound effect during the day with worsening movements. This rebound effect also may occur in the treatment of headaches, where people using opiates in particular, but really sometimes any analgesic, experience a worsening of symptoms later.
