May cause: Muscle cramps can occur with Ethosuximide but it's not very common. Occasionally it can result in an auto immune type disorder so if you have muscle pain and joint pain/rash you should tell your MD. This is a medication used for a type of seizure (sometimes called petit mal or absence) so do not stop it or adjust the dose until you have talked to your Doctor about your muscle symptoms .
