Can you tell me about drugs that cause parkinsonism?

Very complex: In a nutshell, initially might use dopamine agonists, and Azilect, (rasagiline) and later L-DOPA, with carbidopa and entacapone, and even later have combinations of some of these. A non-drug approach via DBS unit could be rather valuable, if necessitated.

Drug side FX: There are certain drugs that may cause parkinsons symptoms. These include reglan, haloperidol, antipsychotics, and sometimes phenergan (promethazine). PD symptoms can also be caused by carbon monoxide poisoning, mercury poisoning.
