Can a rough texture on my face be a rash?

Could be..: It could be a rash if it is an area that is raised, has a reddish or brown color, is scaly, has bumps...but it could very well just be a case of dry skin as well. Is it all over your face? Have you had anything like this before? Itchy? Methotrexate can cause many skin problems. Maybe visiting your rheumatologist would be a good idea to rule out that as a cause.
