Um....: Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health, ... specifically, spotting outside of the period can be a sign of a uterineproblem including cancer. but periods often start a bit dribbly especially near menopause. someone with spotting would need GYN eval and... every woman age 46 should have a yearly PAP (spotting would be an indication for it)
