See answer: If having no significant pain, likely just a rupture of a superficial blood vessel(s) and local ice pack, avoiding erections/intercourse, and observation may be all that you need. May take couple of weeks for discoloration to completely resolve. If you are having pain, swelling is worsening, bleeding from meatus, or are concerned, you should either go to the er or see a urologist within 24 hrs.
