Is acetaminophen less irritating to stomach and intestines than ibuprofen?

Yes: Non steroidal anti inflamtory medicine(nsaid) like ibuprofen, advil, aleve, naproxen, commonly available drugs for pain relief can irritate the gastric mucosa and can cause gastritis even the bleeding ulcer. Therefore it is not advisable to take it on empty stomach.Where as tyleno (actamenophen) is not nsaid.

Acetaminophen produces fewer gastric problems than aspirin, does not interfere with the clotting mechanism, and is generally well tolerated.
