It can take awhile: It sounds like you have been patient and that is very wise for a young woman. But it also sounds like you are beginning to fret. That's normal even if your still being irregular is normal too. Do ask to see a doctor for a good exam to be reassured or to find the cause and address it. I expect it is fine - but it can't hurt to hear that from a doctor who's checked. Best wishes.

Not uncommon: It's not all that uncommon for periods to still be irregular 2-3 years after they start. There are other things that may come in to play here as well about your general health/living style. Are you overweight? Are you getting 8-10 hours of sleep at night? Is your iron intake adequate through what you eat or a vitamin? Are you having any other symptoms associated with your period? Talk to doctor!
