Interesting question: For many women, the pain is brief and, if they are enjoying the sex, the sensual feelings take over and may be stronger than the pain. Many women know that after that initial discomfort, other episodes of intercourse don't hurt. I think it's like asking if you fall off the bike when you first try to ride, why would you try again?? Because it's fun and you get better at it!!
