Depends...: Birth control pills are usually started one of 3 ways: 1) Sunday start begins the first Sunday after your period begins. Example. If your period starts Friday, you would start 2 days later on Sunday. 2) Start on the first day of your period. 3) Start today. You can start today if you are between Day 1 and First Sunday.
