Depends. : If it was a convulsive seizure-like episode, the most likely explanation is that it wasn't a seizure. A conversion disorder is more likely in cases like that. Yes, there are exceptions (e.g. certain uncommon frontal lobe epilepsy syndromes) which is why there are epileptologists in the world! We help figure these things out.
