Checkup: Depression and pain frequently are experienced together. Depression can cause pain in many areas such as in the abdomen. Chronic pain generally causes depression. I would suggest you get a physical to rule out something going on physically first. Then I would suggest you contact a therapist and look into why you are depressed and develop good cooping skills so you won't be depressed any more.

That is possible.: Physcial pain and depressed mood or even clinical depression can go hand in hand. The only way to determine if the pain is due to a separate medical conditions or if it is impacted by depression is through a medical evaluation. Hope you feel better soon. Take care.
