Depends on person: The reason women have different length to their cycles is because each woman may ovulate on a different day of their cycle. Most women ovulate around day 14-16 of their cycle. Women who are more mature may ovulate much earlier (~ day 10), which would shorten their overall period cycles. To determine, substract 12-14 days from the average length of your period cycles. That's when you Ovulate!

Depends: on cycle length. You ovulate 14 days before your period starts. So if you have a 30 day cycle you will ovulate 16 days after your period starts. If it is 26 days you will ovulate 12 days after your period starts

You count backwards: from your next anticipated period. Take number of days long your cycle and subtract 14. If you have a 28 day cycle - you would ovulate on day #14. If you have a 30 day cycle you would ovulate on day #16. Etc.
