That depends: Do you live in a dangerous neighborhood where the crime rate is high? What are you afraid of? Have you been hurt or traumatized and therefore fearful? If the fears are warranted and based in reality, it is not paranoia. If however, your fears are not based in a dangerous reality, it may be paranoid thinking. Talk 2a clinical psychologist to help you decide. The fact that U R asking is a good sign.

You may have an: anxiety disorder. If so, this is treatable. Sort it all out w/clinical psychologist. Don't rely on medication only. See books by Claire Weekes about coping w/anxiety. Peace and good health.
