How can i treat peeling skin after radiation therapy?

It all depends...: ...on the degree of "peeling". Dry flakey skin after radiation treatment is generally treated with moisturizing creams/ointments like Aquaphor.If the skin is open, you need to see the radiation oncologist for evaluation and management. It is important to keep the wound clean and to prevent infection. Most peeling heals nicely within a few weeks. Again, your rad onc doctor is expert treating this.

Call the center: and ask for aquaphor, and to take a look to see if the reaction is as expected or different. Commonly the nurse can help you, but ask to see your doctor if you like.
