Birth control not helping acne. what do i do?

Different Rx: Your decision about whether to continue the oral contraceptive pill is yours to make. I'm sorry you didn't get the result you hoped for. A different formulation might work better. Or it may be time for an antibiotic, spironolactone, or for the tough-willed, isotretinoin. The latter, if offered, is a far better choice than continuing to be handicapped socially and professionally by acne.
