Sunburn: "sun poisoning" is just severe sunburn. It should be treated with cool washcloths applied as often as feasible, and Ibuprofen or a similar anti-inflammatory for the pain and inflammation. You can prevent it by applying a good broad-spectrum sunscreen lotion every day, and reapplying it frequently while you are working in the sun.

'sun poisoning' is: Sort of garbage pail term that lumps different problems together one form of sun poisoning includes rash w red skin ; possible blisters, fatigue, fevers, chills or headache. Another is called polymorphous light eruption(pmle) ; it has sxs that were just described as well as dense clusters of small bumps over the body w possible hives on legs/arms/chest.
