A member asked:

If you started taking contraceptives three days after your period and have sex two days after you started on it can you become pregnant?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: Depending on the type of birth control you are taking, it is possible to get pregnant if the birth control is not taken on a regularly scheduled basis. Of note, no form of birth control is 100% effective at preventing pregnancy.
