Skin conditions: Like rashes, inflammation, spots, scales are difficult to diagnose without being seen. It might be eczema or a viral side effect or a reaction to a medication (or combination) or psoriasis or something entirely different. Since a large area is involved, either a dermatologist or an allergist would be the one to see for evaluation ; treatment. Do not cover your body with steroid cream (cortaid, etc.

See a dermatologist: Eczema on the face is common among babies but much less common as you grow older. It is very common to see extensive eczema sparing the face. Consider yourself fortunate that at least it is not on your face. Eczema is best treated by a dermatologist, not an allergist. Usually it is not an allergy.
