They are linked: Migraine sufferers often withdraw to a quiet, darkened room and attempt to sleep. As the intensity of the headache wanes, the headache phase blends into the postdrome. They often complain of a "washed-out" feeling, fatigue accompanied by a loss of appetite and aching muscles. Reduced immunity predispose the patient to disseminated candidiasis (thrush).
