My husband had bronchitis and was treated with mobic (meloxicam) and depo-provera medrol injection.he was allergic to voltaren.he died 10min after injection. why?

AERD?: If your late husband had aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease (aerd), he would have reacted with a severe asthma attack to all nsaids other than celebrex (celecoxib). Mobic in low doses is less likely to cause problem in aerd but it still poses a higher risk. If the reaction to voltaren was just hives, then the story would be different. These are just possible answers since i don't know the whole story.

Reaction to mobic (meloxicam): He may have allergic reaction to mobic (meloxicam). Mobic (meloxicam) is an anti-inflammatory medicine similar to voltaren. I am sorry for your loss.
