A member asked:

Is it normal or even possible to ovulate 22 days after your last period? does it affect your next period and does it signify a pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Women with 35-day or 36-day cycles ovulate about 22 days after the start of each period. Whether or not it changes the timing of the next period depends on how regular a woman is. For example, if she always ovulates on cycle day 22, then she is regular and always has approximately 36-day cycles. Finally, if a woman ovulates, then she is not pregnant, because pregnancy blocks new ovulation.
